| A new
gallery is recently opened in Ubud, adding to a
wide range of visual taste that Ubud has been supplied
to the national and international modern artscene.
The man behind the scene of the gallery’s
founding is Antonius Kho, a painter who has received
some recognitions in the national artscene. |

WINA Gallery
is the name of the gallery, abbreviation of Widuri
& Sena(Wina).
“I dedicate this this gallery too Widuri and
Sena, my daughter and son,”
Antonius said. The gallery is situated in Jl. Raya
Sanggingan about 200 meters north of Neka Museum.
The opening of the gallery is held March 7, 2004.
The management is planned to build a gallery whose
activities ranged from painting exhibitions, workshop
and other arts activities.
The gallery currently host ‘artist
in residence’,
a program arranged in collaboration with some galleries
in Java, “If
there is chance, I would also like to have foreign
artists work together with locals in residence program.”
